Hiring rules & additional extras
All drivers must be 25 years or older and hold a full, valid licence. Our vans are strictly non-smoking - both in the cab and in the sleeping quarters. We maintain a pet and party-free policy to keep the vans in top condition. Your booking includes a 200km per day allowance, with any extra distance billed at a simple 30c per km. We provide you with a full tank of Diesel and ask that you return it full to avoid a surcharge; meanwhile, your $80 service fee covers your essential amenities and incidentals, including fresh bed linen. While bed linen is provided for free you can add add bath towels for just $20. Our van is designed for sealed roads, so driving off-road, on the beach or extended gravel roads are not allowed.
Van delivery & safety
Handover in Launceston is free of charge, though we can deliver to the airport for a $100 fee each way. If you prefer a Hobart Airport pickup, the fee is $300. We are happy to discuss other locations like Burnie or Devonport upon request.
Standard check-in and out times are between 9am and 6pm with after-hours requests available for $50 per hour.
Should you encounter any mechanical concerns or dashboard lights, please pull over immediately and call us so we can help. In the event of an accident your safety is the priority: move to a safe distance and contact us for NRMA assistance if any damage has occurred, so we could support you through the process. Please refer to your rental agreement for full details on accidents and damage.

If you have a question prior to making a booking, you can reach us by email and we will get back to you as soon as possible. Please keep the time difference with Tasmania in mind when booking from overseas (GST+9-11 hrs depending on the time of year).
